The thunder is driving me crazy. It sounds like it's crashing just blocks away, and it simply won't let up.

Good to know I'm not the only one who's a bit behind on the national reading list: Cyrus Farivar notes some comic relief from the last administration in Richard Clarke's book. Cyrus is an impressively accomplished tech journalist and a new recruit to Columbia Journalism, about to graduate from Berkeley with a degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies (PEIS).
